City Engineer
The City Engineer provides project design, surveying, inspection, and construction management for the City’s capital improvement projects. The Engineer is also responsible for reviewing plans and inspecting construction of private developments to certify that they are in compliance with applicable laws, ordinances, City standards, and are practicing sound engineering design methods. The City Engineer is involved with master traffic planning, ensuring the safe movement of people and goods throughout the city, and provides long-range planning for the City’s streets, utilities, and drainage infrastructure. |
