Kearney Palms III Project Description: Willow Partners, LLC is proposing to develop Kearney Palms III to construct an additional 44 apartments for qualified seniors. The project will consist of 36 one-bedroom and 8 two-bedroom units on approximately 1.26 acres. The developer has applied for state tax credits to finance the project. Kearney Palms III will be offered as an affordable housing project for qualified seniors.
Location: The project site is adjacent to the existing Kearney Palms I and II project located at the northwest corner of Kearney Boulevard and 9th Street.
Approvals: The City of Kerman approved the site plan for the proposed project on August 5, 2009 which included a general plan amendment, zone change, and tentative parcel map. Construction of the project is pending award of state tax credit allocations.
