The project consists of a two-story apartment building, a single-story community building with common area, a separate playground and parking lot. A majority of the units have three bedrooms.
The Housing Authority applied for and received state tax credits to finance the project, which is estimated to cost $4.0 million to build. Kerman Acre will be offered as an affordable housing project for qualified renters.
Location: The project site is located on the north side of West California Avenue between 9th and 12th Street.
Approvals: The City of Kerman approved the site plan for the project on June 15, 2009. Construction was completed on September 29, 2010
