| Mission Statement: | ||||||||||||
To lead the youth of our community through volunteerism, service, and activities that are directed toward effective change. The Kerman Youth Advisory Commission operates administratively under the Kerman Recreation, Parks & Community Services Department. Their role is to advise the Department in activities, events, and programs that will address the needs of Kerman’s youths. They advise recreation staff in the program planning of the year, participate in community service projects, and participate in writing and redefining their by-laws. The Kerman Youth Commission is accepting new applicants for the 2009-2010 school year. Applications can be obtained at the Community/Teen Center.

Lock-In's
The Lock-In’s are open to all 7th-12th grade Kerman Middle and High School Students.
Lock-In’s are at the Community/Teen Center doors open at 8:00pm and lock at 11:00pm. No one comes in or out until 6:00am.
It’s a fun filled night with a DJ, basketball tournaments, contests, games and prizes.
Come to the pool are get in for free. Enjoy a day in the sun with games and prizes.
Teen Trips
All currently enrolled 7th-12th grade Kerman Middle and High School students are invited to join in on the fun and adventure of exploring California.
Trip costs will vary. Participants must have a signed permission slip and pay in full before each trip date. When: Tuesday, June 8, 2010 - Six Flags magic Mountain Cost: $50.00 per person (costs includes transportation and tick)
