Kerman Youth Leadership Academy (KYLA) is a program for incoming Freshman- Senior Students. It is a 10 week summer program that will introduce interested youth to leadership concepts and information regarding local institutions that shape our community. KYLA will provide a local forum discussion of community issues and how to navigate the local systems, introducing the process of advocacy planning. Participants will meet once a week for presentations from city, county, state government officials and local business leaders. Through these presentations and field trips participants will develop an Advocacy Project to take place here in the Kerman community.
