City Attorney

The City of Kerman contracts with the law office of Montoy Law Corporation.

The City Attorney is the legal counsel to the City, City Council, Planning Commission, and various other committees and boards and provides:

• Legal advice and training to the City Council, City Manager, Commissioners and Department Heads
• Drafts Contracts, legal opinions and other legal documents and negotiates on behalf of the City
• Initiates litigation on behalf of the City to enforce Kerman's rights
