Safekeeping/Found Items
If items are found they will be kept in safekeeping. You may call to inquire if your property was turned over to the police department 559-846-6633
One of our property and evidence technicians will inform you if we have property that matches the description of item. If you contact us after business hours, leave a descriptive message of items lost along with contact information.

Vehicle Abatement
Our Vehicle Abatement Program is managed by the Kerman Police Department.
If you believe that a vehicle is abandoned (has not been moved for over 72 hours, has expired registration for over 6 months or it is inoperable - missing essential parts like engine, transmission, wheels or windshield) contact 559-846-8800, which is the contracted dispatch services for the City.
Be prepared to provide the following information:
- Location of the vehicle
- Vehicle make, model and color
- License plate number
